Bored in Marriage: Bored Panda Feature!

Exciting News: I Was Featured on Bored Panda!

I’m thrilled to share that I was recently featured in a Bored Panda article discussing an important topic that resonates with many people: the emotional complexities of feeling bored or unfulfilled in marriage.

The article, titled “Woman Admits To Feeling Bored In Marriage, Sparks Online Debate,” explores how emotional needs often go unspoken in long-term relationships, and why boredom isn’t as simple as it seems. I was asked to weigh in from a therapist’s perspective, offering insight into why this feeling is common and what it might really signal underneath the surface.

In my contribution, I shared that boredom in a relationship is often a sign of deeper emotional disconnection or unmet needs—not necessarily a reflection of your partner’s worth or the relationship itself. It can also signal the need for personal growth or boundaries, especially in partnerships where one person feels responsible for carrying the emotional load.

What I appreciate about this article is how it opens up a necessary conversation about the realities of marriage—without judgment or shame. So many clients I work with privately struggle with similar feelings, and it’s refreshing to see these topics being discussed openly in a public space.
